框架的直立部分可包括座椅部件及控制台部件。在一些實例中,將座椅部件及控制台部件彼此附接。在一些情況中,座椅部件及控制台部件經緊固地連接並形成一個「Y」形。在替代實例中,控制台部件及座椅部件的連接可形成一個「V」形、「T」形、具有單一較低連接點的另一種形狀,或以上的組合。在另一實例中,座椅部件及控制台部件彼此獨立。

按照本說明書中所述原理,可使用任何適當類型的底座部分。例如,底座部分可包括第一水平部件及與第一水平部件對齊的第二水平部件。第一及第二水平框架部件之各者可將底座部分的前橫棒連接至底座部分的後橫棒。在一些情況中,前橫棒及後橫棒中至少一者可包括至少一個輪子,以輔助跨於支撐平面上移動健身機。第一水平部件、第二水平部件、前橫棒、後橫棒、另一橫棒或以上之組合之中的至少一者可包括抓握特徵,其在健身機經定位以進行健身運動時穩定健身機。
落入式插座可固定至第一水平部件、第二水平部件、前橫棒、後橫棒、另一橫棒、底座部分的另一組件,或以上的組合。在一特定實施例中,落入式插座相對於此等水平部件的長度而橫向地排列方位,且落入式插座連接至第一及第二水平部件兩者。在一些情況中,落入式插座經附接在此等水平部件的中間區域中。
可將落入式插座的組件覆蓋在一樞軸外殼中。樞軸外殼可為不同於覆蓋框架之直立部分、阻力機構或以上之組合的絕大部分之外殼的外殼。樞軸外殼可避免可能接觸到樞轉關節之組件的碎屑及其他物體。在使用了潤滑油以潤滑樞轉關節之組件的實例中,外殼能協助保持住潤滑油或其他潤滑劑,並協助保持潤滑劑清潔。
在一些情況中,落入式插座允許可插入主軸旋轉。在一些實例中,落入式插座允許可插入主軸沒有限制地隨意旋轉。在其他實例中,落入式插座限制了可插入主軸能旋轉的範圍。
在其他實例中,落入式主軸不相對於框架的底座部分旋轉。在特定實施例中,套筒圍繞落入式主軸。在此等實施例中,落入式主軸可經固定在原處,同時仍允許套筒圍繞落入式主軸旋轉。在其他情況中,直立部分之框架部件的遠心端相對於落入式主軸為旋轉地隔離。因此,落入式主軸可相對於底座部分維持靜止,同時框架的直立部分圍繞落入式主軸旋轉。

在一些實例中,阻力機構可在健身運動進行期間阻擋第一及第二曲柄臂的移動。飛輪可經附接至飛輪主軸,其經由飛輪架連接至直立部分的控制台部件,且飛輪可圍繞飛輪主軸旋轉。飛輪的旋轉是藉磁性單元來阻擋。施加在飛輪上之磁通量的強度可藉由改變磁性單元的位置或是改變電功率的位準從而改變磁強度來調整。
在一些情況中,飛輪在健身機離傾斜致動器的相對側上。飛輪的位置可藉由抵銷平衡在框架之直立部分上的重量,來減少在傾斜致動器上的負荷。例如,由飛輪及傾斜致動器所施加的負荷可以樞轉關節為中心而平衡。有了加載至樞轉關節的抵銷重量,傾斜致動器能經建構以承受負荷,同時傾斜致動器處於張力負荷下而非主要是壓縮負荷下。在張力負荷之下,傾斜致動器不需要產生足以移動直立部分之重量的力,因為在飛輪上的重力產生了足以移動健身機之直立部分的力。相反地,傾斜致動器阻擋了飛輪的拉力而不是產生力。
在一些實例中,樞轉軸離底座部分之水平部件在少於六英吋之內。維持樞轉軸靠近水平部件提供了較長的力臂,傾斜致動器能圍繞力臂移動直立部分,如此降低了所需用來移動直立部分(或防止其移動)的負荷。
在有控制台的實例中,控制台可包括一對把手,使用者可在進行健身運動期間抓著此對把手。控制台可包括顯示螢幕,其指示出在運動期間健身機的至少一個操作參數或是使用者的生理參數。例如,顯示螢幕可描繪出阻力機構的設定、使用者正操作健身機的速度、健身機的當前運動模式、使用者之運動的估計卡路里數、使用者的心跳率、一天中的時間、運動的持續時間、其他操作參數、使用者的其他生理參數,或以上的組合。在一些實例中,所燃燒之卡路里的估計數可基於從健身機之操作參數所獲得的資訊。在一些情況中,被用來決定燃燒的卡路里的資訊至少一些是基於使用者設定檔(profile),其包含有關使用者的個人資訊,諸如身高、體重、年齡、性別、健康狀況、身體組成、其他類型的個人資訊,或以上的組合。可輸入個人資訊到健身機的控制台中。在其他實例中,控制台可與內含使用者設定檔的遠端裝置通訊。例如,控制台可與內含有關使用者之至少一項個人資訊的個人電腦、行動裝置、資料中心、網站、網路裝置、另一類型的裝置或以上的組合進行無線通訊。
在一些實例中,控制台可與操作體適能追蹤程式的遠端裝置通訊。在一些實例中,某些個人資訊可從體適能追蹤程式接收。還有,在一些情況中,控制台可傳送有關使用者之運動的資訊給體適能追蹤程式。此運動資訊可包括健身運動的類型及持續期間、阻力設定、所燃燒的卡路里估計量、其他類型的資訊,或以上的組合。
控制台也可包括至少一個輸入機構,以供輸入資訊到控制台中。例如,使用者可藉控制台來控制健身機的操作參數。在一些情況中,使用者能經由控制台來控制阻力設定。另外,使用者可透過藉控制台所輸入的指令來升高及降低座椅。此外,在一些實例中,使用者能藉控制台來控制控制台部件的位置,及/或藉控制台來控制控制台的傾斜角。控制台的輸入機構可包括按鈕、槓桿、轉盤、觸控螢幕、鍵盤、麥克風、另一類型的輸入機構、攝影機,或以上的組合。在一些實例中,使用者可命令健身機從一運動模式改變成另一運動模式。在此種實例中,健身機可改變座椅位置、控制台傾斜角、控制台部件的位置、任何其他位置,以將健身機置於所欲的運動模式或儲藏模式,而無需來自使用者的進一步輸入。

Claims (15)

  1. 一種健身機,包含: 一框架,該框架包括:一底座部分;一直立部分,該直立部分於一單一支點處耦合至該底座部分;一樞轉關節,該樞轉關節於該單一支點處連接該直立部分至該底座部分;該樞轉關節,該樞轉關節包括:一落入式主軸,該落入式主軸連接至該直立部分;及一落入式插座,該落入式插座連接至該底座部分;其中該落入式主軸為可移出地接收在該落入式插座中。
  2. 如請求項1所述之健身機,進一步包含: 一可移動元件,該可移動元件附接至該框架,其中該可移動元件在一健身運動進行期間相對於該框架移動。
