Abstract
The present invention provides a brake disc having appropriate hardness together with high temper softening resistance. To be concrete, the brake disks having high temper softening resistance has a composing structure consisting of 0.1mass% or less of C, 1.0 mass% or less of Si, 2.0 mass% or less of Mn, 10.5 to 15.0 mass% of Cr, 2.0 mass% or less of Ni, more than 0.5 to 4.0 mass% of Cu, 0.02 to 0.3 mass% of Nb, 0.1 mass% or less of N and further including all of C, N, Nb, Cr, Si, Ni, Mn, Mo and Cu which satisfy the following formulas (1) and (2), and the balance being Fe and unavoldable impurities, organized by martensite structure in which an average grain size of old austenite grain is 8μm or more and hardness HRC is 32 to 38, Formulas, 5Cr+10Si+15Mo+30Nb-9Ni-5Mn-3Cu-225N-270C<45 (1) 0.03≤{C+N-(13/93)Nb}≤0.09 (2)
