Abstract

The machine includes a moving stand with at least one arm (2), drive and feed rolls (3), a drive mechanism (4) for the arm(s), a plastic film holder (6) and a control unit (12). The mantle surface of a bale formed in the baling machine is tightly wrapped with plastic film and then a wall section of the baling machine is opened to allow simultaneous wrapping of the film around the bale mantle and end wall surfaces, after which the bale is removed from the packaging machine.
