Abstract
Description
465 450 varit fallet hittils. 465 450 has been the case so far. The invention is based on the machine known from Swedish Offenlegungsschrift 421 047, which is supplemented with means for compaction, kneading and extrusion.
The device according to the invention is characterized by a circular-cylindrical jacket arranged around the mantle surface of the mixer housing, which is hollowed over the part of its circumference which lies over the outlet of the mixer housing and which has its axis coaxial with the mixer wheel axis, and between said edge and the cylindrical outer shells in the direction of a chord in the mixer housing, each outer vane being connected to the lower part of the wheel and sweeping over the inside of the jacket.
The invention is described in detail in the following with reference to the accompanying drawing figures, in which an embodiment of the device according to the invention is schematically illustrated as an example.
Fig. 2 visar en sektion utefter linjen II-II i fig. 1. Fig. 3 visar en del av sektionen i fig. 2 i större skala. Fig. 4 visar en del av sektionen i fig. 1 i större skala.Fig. 1 shows a vertical section through the device according to the invention. Fig. 2 shows a section along the line II-II in Fig. 1. Fig. 3 shows a part of the section in Fig. 2 on a larger scale. Fig. 4 shows a part of the section in Fig. 1 on a larger scale.
The device shown in the drawing has a mixer housing 1 with lid 2. Inside the housing is arranged a wheel, consisting of an upper wheel 3 and a lower wheel 4, which has a shaft 5 which is rotatably mounted at the mixer housing 1 by means of bearing 6. Between - and the lower wheels 3 resp. 4 there is a cavity 7 which is connected to the upper side of the upper wheel 3 via a circumferential slot 8 which has the shape of the mantle surface of a truncated cone with the tip directed downwards. The upper wheel 3 has on its upper side vanes 9. Between the vanes 9 there are spaces 10 which are intended to receive the powder for the mixture. The lower wheel 4 has a circumferential edge 11 at the mouth of the gap 8 and is further provided at its periphery with outer vanes 12, the outer edge 13 of which runs next to the conical surface 14 of the lid 2. The mixing housing has a circumferential surface recess in which a hollow jacket 15 is accommodated. The holes 16 of the jacket are cylindrical and their axis forms an angle, 5 with the axis of the mixing housing which is between 0 and 900 and is suitably, for example, 600. Angular example: between the axis of the holes and their mouth plane 17 is preferably about 900. The powder phase is supplied to the mixer housing via the tube 18 and the liquid phase is supplied via the cavity 19 in the hollow shaft 5. In the mixing operation, the wheel 3, U rotates inside the housing 1 at a speed which can be between 1000 and 5000 revolutions per minute. The wet phase or liquid is then supplied to the mixer via the tubular shaft 5 to the cavity 7. the trifugal force is then thrown outwards through the gap 8 and By means of cents, the shape of a membrane which extends outwards all the time at the same time becomes thinner. When the liquid membrane leaves the gap 8, it hits the edge 11 and is thereby torn into microscopic droplets so that a mist rim is formed. Simultaneously with the supply of liquid, powder is supplied via the tube 18 to the spaces 10 and from there the powder is thrown by means of the centrifugal force and the vanes 9 outwards towards the periphery of the upper wheel 3 at the same time as it is whipped and hits the fog curtain at the edge 11. The two phases, liquid and powder, is now thrown further outwards together and collides with the conical surface 14 of the lid 2 where the instantaneous mixing takes place. The finished mixture is immediately captured by the vanes 12, the edge 13 of which runs right next to the conical surface 14 and kneads and thereby tears the mixed material against this surface during a process similar to filling. The mixed material is then puttyed outwards, downwards towards the perforated jacket 15 and forms a compact, plastic mass along the way before it is pressed out through the holes 16 into homogeneous and compact cylindrical strands 20 of the outer, front edge 21 of the vanes 12, which run close to the jacket 15 inner- surface 22.
The holes 16 are drilled at an angle B relative to the radius of the jacket which is as close as possible to a right angle so that the action forces of the vanes can act as close as possible in the direction of the hole axes. In this way, friction losses and heat generation are reduced in the squeezing step itself.
-The orifice plane of the holes should form an angle Q with the hole axes as close as possible to a right angle in order to prevent the extruded strands from being deflected towards the outside of the jacket and thereby the outer arch of the strands thus having a porous and crack-laden surface which complicates the further processing of the strings. -
