Может применяться при компьютерной обработке кардиограмм, для расчета RR-интервалов, построения периодограмм и других задач, связанных с анализом сердечного ритма, а также в кардиографах с автоматической обработкой ЭКГ. Определение момента времени по производной сигнала является существенным отличием от прототипа, использующего интеграл от сигнала. Это отличие позволяет определить момент времени более точно, так как производная сигнала изменяется во времени гораздо быстрее, чем интеграл. Преимущество предложенного способа состоит в существенно более высокой точности определения момента появления QRS-комплекса, позволяющего использовать его в точных методах компьютерной обработки кардиограмм, таких, например, как спектральный анализ сердечного ритма. Другим преимуществом способа является его нечувствительность к медленным изменениям сигнала (к дрейфу изолинии), связанная с использованием производной, не содержащей постоянной составляющей исходного сигнала. The advantage of the proposed method consists in a significantly higher accuracy in determining the moment of appearance of the QRS complex, which allows it to be used in exact methods of computer processing of cardiograms, such as, for example, spectral analysis of heart rhythm. Another advantage of the method is its insensitivity to slow changes in the signal (to the contour drift) associated with the use of a derivative that does not contain a constant component of the original signal. This will reduce the number of errors when applying the method in diagnostic methods.
