Invenţia se referă la un prefabricat termoizolator pentru izolaţii industriale, care are în comoziţie un agregat ultrauşor, de preferinţă perlit, şi se caracterizează prin asocierea agregatului ultrauşor cu ciment portland drept liant, în raport de 2/3...3/2, şi argilă măcinată cu rol de liant şi stabilizator ceramic în proporţie de 1-3% din compoziţie, prefabricatul având următoarele caracteristici principale: densitatea aparentă de 0,45-0,55 g/cm, rezistenţă la compresiune de 1,2-2 N/mm, porozitate aparentă de 50-65%, conductivitate termică - la 400°C de 0,115-0,117 Kcal/m x h x grd., la 600°C de 0,126-0,133 Kcal/m x h x grd., la 800°C de 0,152-0,164 Kcal/m x h x grd., temperatura maximă de utilizare de 900-1000°C.
