Zgazowarka pozioma posiada zamknięty korpus (3) z izolacją termiczną, w którym umieszczony jest ślimakowy podajnik (4) wsadu (2), pionowy zasyp (1) wsadu (2) usytuowany u jednego końca korpusu (3), wlot (7) gazu utleniającego (6) oraz odbieralnik (5) popiołu (11) usytuowane u drugiego końca korpusu (3), wylot (9) lotnych produktów (8). Zgazowarka charakteryzuje się tym, że końcową strefę korpusu (3) stanowi strefa zgazowania (21), zaś wał (4b) ślimakowego podajnika (4) jest szczelnie wydrążony na całej długości i zaopatrzony w otwory wlotowe (18) do wprowadzania dopełniającej części gazu utleniającego (6) usytuowane w segmencie wychodzącym poza korpus (3) od strony, przy której znajduje się zasyp (1) i w otwory wylotowe (20) tej części gazu utleniającego usytuowane w strefie zgazowania (21), zaś wylot (9) lotnych produktów (8) znajduje się pomiędzy zasypem (1) i wlotem (7) gazu utleniającego (6). Wloty (7) i (18) gazu utleniającego (6) są wyposażone w niezależne przepływomierze masowe (6a) i (6b) połączone z co najmniej dwoma czujnikami temperatury (23) umieszczonymi w korpusie (3). Zgłoszenie obejmuje także sposób termochemicznej konwersji palnego materiału węglonośnego (2) w zgazowarce poziomej.The horizontal gasifier has a closed body (3) with thermal insulation, in which there is a screw feeder (4) for the charge (2), a vertical feeder (1) for the charge (2) located at one end of the body (3), and an inlet (7) for the oxidizing gas (6) and an ash collector (5) (11) located at the other end of the body (3), the outlet (9) of volatile products (8). The gasifier is characterized by the fact that the end zone of the body (3) is the gasification zone (21), and the shaft (4b) of the screw feeder (4) is tightly hollowed along its entire length and equipped with inlet holes (18) for introducing an additional part of the oxidizing gas ( 6) located in the segment extending beyond the body (3) from the side where the feed (1) is located and into the outlet holes (20) of this part of the oxidizing gas located in the gasification zone (21), and the outlet (9) of volatile products (8) is located between the feed (1) and the inlet (7) of the oxidizing gas (6). The oxidizing gas inlets (7) and (18) (6) are equipped with independent mass flow meters (6a) and (6b) connected to at least two temperature sensors (23) located in the body (3).
