Abstract
Los derivados de quinuclidina de la fórmula I, y sus sales farmacéuticamente aceptables, el cual es: en donde R1 es hidrógeno o hidroxi, R2 es hidrógeno, o R1 y R2 se unen juntos de manera que CR1-CR2 es un doble enlace, X se selecciona de -CH2CH2-, -CHCH-, -C-C-, -CH20-, -CH20-, -OCH2-, -CH2NH-, NHCH2-, -CH2CO-, -COCH2-, -CH2S (0)n- y -S(0)nCH2- en donde n es 0,1, o 2; Ar es fenilo el cual puede estar opcionalmente susbtituído o insusbtituido, por uno o más substituyentes tales como halógeno, hidroxi, amino, nitro, ciano, carboxi, carbamoilo, alquilo alquenbilo, alquinilo, alcoxi, alquilamino, dialquil amino, N-alquilcarbamoilo, N,N-di-alquicarbamoilo, alcoxicarbonilo, alquiltio, alquisulfinilo, alquilsulfonilo, halógeno, alquilo, alcanoilamino, alquilenodioxi, alcanoilo y derivados de oxima, del mismo y los éteres de O-alquilo de las oximas; con la condición de que cuando X se selecciona e -OCO2-, -NHCH2-, y -SCH2-, R1 no es hidroxi, que inhibe la sintasa del escualeno, u que son útiles en el tratamiento de enfermedades o de síntomas médicos, en las cuales la inhibición de la sintasa de escualeno es deseable.
