Abstract

PURPOSE: A power stabilization apparatus in starting a vehicle engine is provided to prevent the abrupt starting of a vehicle by eliminating a surge voltage instantaneously generated in a coil of a start relay in starting the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A start relay(30) is operated by power outputted from a battery(20) when a start switch(10) is switched into a start position to drive a start motor(40). A surge voltage eliminating unit(35) eliminates an instant surge voltage generated in a magnetized coil of the start relay(30) to stabilize a ground voltage of all sorts of electronic circuit devices. A controller(50) controls an operation of an electronic control driving unit(60) by stabilizing the ground voltage by the surge voltage eliminating unit(35). The surge voltage eliminating unit(35) is formed by connecting a diode to both ends of the coil of the start relay(30).
