Wherein, 0.03-0.5 kilogram of the fodder additive is added to 1 ton of the fodder.

Description

Feed additive based on calcined diatomaceous earth

The present invention relates to the use of calcined diatomaceous earth as feed additive in the intestines of animals having very high adsorption power of harmful gases or toxins.

Recently, with the development of the livestock industry, there has been a growing interest in the removal of odors and intestinal toxins caused by animal feces. Adsorbent minerals such as zeolite, bentonite, activated carbon and the like are known as inorganic adsorbents and generally used for the purpose of water purification and deodorization. In particular, zeolite or activated carbon has been mainly used for the purpose of absorbing the intestinal gas of livestock.

Conventional deodorizers have been used by powdering by treating two or more minerals such as bentonite, peat (corrosive soil) physically or chemically, but these were scattered during use and contaminated the surroundings. In addition, calcined lime and gypsum chloride may be used as the deodorizing agent by adding an oxidation promoter thereto, but this has the disadvantage that its use is extremely limited.

On the other hand, Japanese Patent Publication No. 55-47143 provides a method for producing ammonia deodorant by breaking zeolite in sulfuric acid, immersing it in an aqueous solution of ferrous salt after washing, and drying it, but absorbing other harmful gases other than NH 3 gas. There is a drawback to not doing it.

The present invention removes harmful gases such as trimethylamine, ammonia, hydrogen sulfide and nitrogen gas generated in the intestines of animals in consideration of the disadvantages of the general deodorant and animal feed additives, and prevents the stool smell as well as effectively prevents fecal odor. It is an object of the present invention to provide a feed additive for removing intestinal harmful gases and toxins of livestock to be removed.

In order to achieve the above object, the present invention is a natural mineral diatomaceous earth (Diatomaceous Earth) is calcined to prepare a porous inorganic adsorbent and using it to investigate the adsorption capacity of harmful gases and water was completed through on-site clinical experiments. Hereinafter, the specific configuration and operation of the present invention will be described with reference to Examples, but the scope of the present invention is not limited only to these Examples.

Diatomaceous earth is the accumulation of harmful substances of plants called diatoms that grow in freshwater or seawater. It is composed of extremely small single-cell diatoms and its size is about 5μ ~ 400μ, and there are countless pores (1μ ~ 10μ) in the diatom. The pores are very light and have a large surface area. Therefore, generally, the structured soil has a strong hygroscopic action by physical capillary condensation by pores, and this absorbing power is more powerful than the hygroscopic or deodorizing mechanism of silica gel by hydrogen bonding exposed to the surface by silanol (Si-OH). . Hereinafter, the concrete action of the calcined diatomaceous earth of the present invention is presented as an experimental result.
