Abstract

PURPOSE:To multiplex and transmit a voice signal with a fixed-length frame time sequence by synchronizing and operating a clock of a transmission line with a transmitter and a receiver, giving a first priority to voice frames, sending them respectively and starting a receiving processing after the prescribed time of receiving them. CONSTITUTION:The voice signal is digitized at a framing device 1, divided into fixed length frames, a discrimination header is added by a multiplexer 2, thereafter, the signal is multiplexed with the frames of other signal. When a next transmission frame is determined, the voice frame is given first priority. The framing device 1 and the multiplexer 2 are synchronized and operated to the clock from the circuit. The output of the multiplexer (2) is sent through a circuit interface 3 to the circuit. The frame received from the circuit enters a frame discriminating device 4, and is separated to respective signals by the header. Out of them, the voice signal enters a receiving buffer 5, and at the same time, a timer starts to operate. After the lapse of a Td time, a starting time is sent from a timer 6 to a restoring device 7, and converted into an analog signal by the buffer restoring device 7.
