Abstract

PURPOSE:To accelerate printing speed and thereby facilitate manufacture and management by mounting integer times pieces as many as N of dot printing pin on a leaf spring with the number of pieces of furcated strip of integer times as many as N, and integrating the number of pieces of integer times as many as N of dot printing hammer. The first to sixth printing hammers are grouped as a single set from a viewpoint of function, and a large number of these groups are aligned along a printing line. In the group, printing pins 11 are arranged in a straight printing line which is inclined at a prearranged angle in such a manner that the pins are shifted by a single dot in a paper feed direction. A printing pin 21 is likewise shifted from the printing pin 11 by three dots. Thus it is possible to print a six-dot line in a single shuttle. A printing hammer assembly is composed of a prearranged number of hammer modules 30 of one type arranged at upper and lower stages along a printing line. Under this design, it is possible to accelerate printing speed, and made the manufacture, assembling and management of the assembly easy.
