Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent dust from being attracted owing to electrostatic charging by coating at least one surface of an optical filter with a transparent conductive film made of an oxide semiconductor and grounding the conductive film layer to an optical machine main body. CONSTITUTION:The filter 8 has both surfaces coated with transparent conductive films 9 and 9 made of the oxide semiconductor such as indium oxide and tin oxide. Then the filter 8 is clamped by a filter pressure plate 10 formed of a conductive material and a partition plate 2 provided to a copying machine main body and fixed with a pin 11 made of a conductive material. Consequently, charges generated in the transparent conductive films 9 and 9 move to the partition plate 2 which is grounded through the filter pressure plate 10 and pin 11, so the filter 8 is never charged electrostatically. Toner and dust at the periphery of the photosensitive drum below the partition plate 2 never stick.
