る左右方向に沿い架設されて回転自在に支持され

る左右移動手段と、 前記ネジ軸の回転によりネジ軸に沿い移動する
ように設置されており、枚葉紙パイルの左右の一
端面を検出するセンサ部と、 紙積台に積載した枚葉紙パイルを、前記センサ
部の検出信号を基に、左右方向に沿い移動させて
枚葉紙の位置を調節する枚葉紙位置調節手段と、 紙積台上の枚葉紙の残量が少なくなつたことを
検出する残量検出センサと、 新たな枚葉紙パイルが積載された紙積台が上昇
してくる際に新たな枚葉紙パイルの上面が紙出位
置に到達したことを検出するパイル上面検出セン
サと、 前記残量検出センサにより枚葉紙残量が少なく
なつたことを検出すると、前記センサ部が枚葉紙
パイルの端面から離れるように前記左右移動手段
の駆動制御をし、前記パイル上面検出センサによ
り新たな枚葉紙パイルの上面が紙出位置に到達し
たことを検出すると、前記センサ部が枚葉紙パイ
ルの端面を検出し得る位置に占位するよう前記左
右移動手段を駆動制御する制御手段と、を有する
