Abstract

As for the conductive resin layer 11, for instance, in a solvent which can dissolve both a thermoplastic resin and a 5-heterocyclic polymer, the thermoplastic resin is dissolved first, and in its solution, a 5-heterocyclic compound is dissolved, and thereafter, by dropping an oxidizing agent, a resin liquid which has polymerized the 5-heterocyclic compound is made. Subsequently, the outside peripheral surface of the metallic shaft 10 is coated with this resin liquid and formed by dry coating. In such a way, the roller having an excellent characteristic, whose conductivity is uniform and also, which is not influenced by temperature and humidity is obtained.
