Abstract

PURPOSE:To mass produce high performance bearing structures with low cost, by forming a large diameter bearing cylinder section and a small diameter bearing cylinder section integrally and continuously at a portion where a rotor shaft is penetrated through a motor case and supported thereon. CONSTITUTION:A rotor shaft 31 employs a stepped shaft having opposite small diameter section 31a and a large diameter root section 31b. Stepped portions between the small diameter sections 31a and the large diameter sections 31b are supported at the bearing portions of flanges 14, 24. The portion around a bearing hole of the front flange 14 is formed in cylindrical shape through squeeze press. The cylindrical section is formed into a double-stage structure of a large diameter bearing cylinder section 40 having inner diameter approximately the same as the outer diameter of the large diameter section 31b and a small diameter bearing cylinder section 50 having inner diameter slightly larger than the outer diameter of the small diameter section 31a. The rotor shaft 31 is inserted into the bearing cylinder sections 40, 50 from the inside and the large diameter section 31b is fitted tightly to the large diameter bearing cylinder section 40 while the small diameter section 31a is fitted through a slight gap to the small diameter cylinder section 50. Bearing section of the rear flange 24 has similar structure.
