Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain an insulated wire with the excellent lubricity and abrasion resistance by forming a lubricating layer on an insulating layer on a conductor with a composition material containing the preset quantities of wax (a), binding resin (b), and fluorine-containing resin (c). CONSTITUTION:Paraffin wax and carnauba wax with high hardness and a melting point of 50 deg.C or higher are preferable for the wax (a). Resin such as phenol or acryl is used for the binding resin (b), and polytetrachloroethyl, ethylene tetrafluoride-propylene hexafluoride copolymer or the like are suitable for the fluorine-containing resin (c). The three constituents are selected so that 2/8<a/b<6/4, and (c) is 1pts.wt. or more and 30pts.wt. or less against (a+b) sum 100pts.wt. The wax powder and the fine powder of fluorine-containing resin are mixed in a binding resin solution and coated and baked to form this composition material on an insulated electric wire, and the wax and fluorine- containing resin are dispersed in a proper solvent.
