に陰極板5及び陽極板6の上縁の中間部から上方
に突設した夫々の耳5a…及び6a…を夫々嵌合
しガスバーナー等によりその夫々のストラツプ
3,3′に溶接し、これを夫々陰極ストラツプ及
び陽極ストラツプに構成する。該ストラツプ3,
3′の夫々の端部には上方に突出する耳状の中間
極柱8,8′を設けるが、第2図示のように、該
中心−線上に並ぶように配設するときは、相
隣る極板群の陰陽極ストラツプのいわゆるセル間
接続が、各極板群の幅方向の中心で行なわれ、換
言すればモノブロツク蓄電池の中心線上に於てセ
ル間接続が構成されるので、振動に対し安定強固
なセル間接続部となり、特に好ましい。尚、合成
樹脂板2の下面には、その中心線上に下方に突出
する長手の区劃壁2aを設けて、これにより、そ
の両側に並列の陰陽板耳群5a…陽極板耳群6a
間を電気的に隔絶するように役立つようにした。
このように構成した本考案の極板群4の接続装置
は、各陰極板5及び各陽極板6の上縁中間部に
夫々耳5a及び6aを突設し、これら耳部をその
極板群4の上面の中間で上記構成の接続部材1の
両側に予め設けたストラツプ3,3′に接続する
ようにしたので、各極板5…6の各面から各耳5
a及び6aへの距離が比較的短かくその集電効率
が向上し、電池電圧の向上をもたらし、中間部で
セル間接続が行なわれるため、耐振動性が向上
し、又その接続部材1の下面に延びる合成樹脂板
2により両側の陰陽ストラツプ3,3′とこれと
異極の極板6,5の上縁の格子枠の伸長、上方屈
曲等による短絡現象が防止される。又、その陰陽
極板耳群5a…5b…は中間に集せられて居り、
且つストラツプ3,3′は予め作成されて居るた
め、これらの接続作業は容易となり、又セル間接
続も容易となる。尚、図示のように、板状合成樹
脂部材2には板上面中央の間隔を埋め両側のスト
ラツプ3,3′を貼着時離隔状態を規制するため
のリブ2bを設けてもよい。本考案は、上記の実
施例の板状の電気絶縁性部材2に代え、棒状の電
気絶縁性部材を用いその両側にストラツプ3,
3′を結着するようにしてもよいことは図示する
までもない。
