DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a socket for a hand-held electric lamp, and in particular, it is made of a thin metal sheet with high thermal conductivity, and the heat radiation area of the collar-shaped heat radiation plate is expanded, thereby dissipating the heat emitted from the light bulb. This is to diffuse the heat and prevent the synthetic resin reflecting mirror from softening and deforming.

In contrast, in recent years, reflectors have been molded using thermoplastic resins with low thermal conductivity, such as ABS resin, so that the central part of the mirror, that is, the part where the light bulb is attached, is exposed to the heat emitted from the above-mentioned light bulb. They had drawbacks such as being heated and softening, sometimes becoming deformed and losing their normal reflective function.

The present invention improves the above-mentioned drawbacks of the conventional handheld electric lamp, and provides a heat dissipation function to the knob of the socket attached to the reflector to fix the light bulb in a predetermined position on the reflector. The heat that would otherwise be transferred to the reflector through the bulb is dissipated, and at the same time, the heat rays radiated from the bulb filament toward the bulb attachment part of the reflector are blocked by the tip of the socket, which increases the temperature of this part. It is an attempt to suppress the

What is shown in FIG. 1 is the front part of a handheld lamp, which is assembled in one piece. In the figure, numeral 1 is a lens frame, 2 is a reflecting mirror, and 3 is a lens. As already mentioned, the reflector 2 is made of ABS.
It is formed in the shape of a paraboloid of revolution using thermoplastic resin such as resin, and aluminum is vacuum-deposited on its reflective surface. The lens 3 covers the reflecting mirror 2 and protects the reflecting mirror itself and the light bulb 4 attached to it from mechanical shock, and also protects them from coming into contact with the outside air, especially rainwater, It is molded using transparent materials such as acrylic resin and glass. Further, the lens frame 1 serves to fix the lens 3 and the reflector 2 in close contact with each other, and also serves as an intermediary for attaching them to the handheld electric lamp body 5. For example, a female screw is screwed onto the inner peripheral surface of the lens frame 1. This is attached to the main body 5 by screwing it into a male screw similarly screwed onto the tip of the main body 5. A mounting hole for mounting a light bulb 4 is formed in the center of the reflecting mirror 2, and a socket 6 is fixed to the mounting hole. As mentioned above, this socket 6 has the function of fixing the light bulb 4 near the focal point of the reflecting mirror 2 and dissipating a part of the heat emitted from the light bulb, and is a tube that supports the light bulb 4. shaped part 7 and brim-shaped heat dissipation plate 8
Of course, it is formed using a thin metal plate. To explain this socket 6 in more detail, first, a flange 9 is formed on the light bulb 4, and on the other hand, a stopper 10 that engages with the flange 9 is formed at the tip of the cylindrical portion 7, and furthermore, a stopper 10 is formed on the tip of the cylindrical portion 7, and a stopper 10 is formed on the tip of the cylindrical portion 7. A female thread 12 is formed on the inner surface to be screwed into a holder 11, which will be described later. The cylindrical portion 7 is formed to be considerably thicker (approximately twice as thick) than the light bulb 4, and its head protrudes sufficiently forward than the mounting hole of the reflecting mirror 2. This prevents the vicinity of the mounting hole of the reflector 2 from being locally heated by the heat rays radiated from the filament of the light bulb 4.
This area is shielded from light by the head of the socket. Next, we will explain the configuration for attaching this socket 6 to the reflecting mirror 2. First, the mounting hole of the reflecting mirror 2 is equipped with a hole to securely fix the socket 6 and to make it difficult for the heat of the socket to be conducted to the reflecting mirror. A cylindrical body 15 is formed in the cylindrical body 15, and the outer diameter of the thread of the female thread 12 formed on the body of the cylindrical part 7 is the same as or slightly smaller than the inner diameter of the cylindrical body 15. , this cylindrical portion 7 is formed so that it is unlikely to come into close contact with the inner surface of the cylindrical body 15. This is the holder 11 as described later.
This is to prevent heat conducted from the socket 6 to the reflecting mirror 2. A groove 16 is formed at the rear end of the cylindrical portion 7 to clamp the rear end edge of the cylindrical body 15, and a groove 16 is formed in the portion that contacts the front end 2a of the cylindrical body 15 when the socket is installed in the mounting hole. Several locking protrusions 14 are provided protrudingly, and by utilizing the fact that the reflecting mirror is molded using thermoplastic resin, these are forced into the mounting hole and engaged with these parts. .

Next, the heat sink 8 will be explained. This is an improved version of the conventional socket for a handheld lamp, which had a knob for inserting the socket into the mounting hole of the reflector, and has the effect of dissipating the heat conducted from the holder 11 to the cylindrical part 7. It's elevated,
It is formed into a disk shape and is bent appropriately as shown in the figure to enlarge the heat dissipation area. 1st
What is shown in the figure and FIG. 2 shows an example in which the heat dissipation plate 8 is bent concentrically, and what is shown in FIG. 3 shows an example in which it is bent radially. The holder 11 is for fixing the light bulb 4 to the socket 6, and has a male thread 15 formed on its circumferential surface that engages with the female thread 12, so that the flange 9 of the light bulb 4 can be attached to the stopper 10 of the socket 6. It is fixed in the socket by pressing. Since this holder 11 is heated most strongly by the base 4' of the light bulb 4, it is important to provide a gap between it and the base 4' in order to reduce the amount of heating.

この様にすれば基部4′の熱は殆んどのものが

In this way, most of the heat from the base 4' is radiated directly from the surface of the base, and the only amount of heat that is transmitted to the cylindrical portion 7 is mainly through the collar 9.

As detailed above, the present invention provides the socket 6, which acts as an intermediary for fixing the light bulb 4 to the reflector 2, with a function of dissipating the heat emitted from the light bulb, thereby preventing the vicinity of the mounting hole of the reflector from being overheated and deformed. This eliminates worries and reduces the temperature near the mounting hole of the reflector to 100℃, which is below the softening point of the reflector.
This can be reduced to below.

のである。
Moreover, since the basic structure of the socket used in the past is hardly changed, the heat dissipation effect can be significantly improved without changing the operability or molding cost when attaching it to the reflector. This has the effect of increasing the thickness and preventing deformation of the reflecting mirror.
