1 is protected and insulated by a covering portion 13. A liquid crystal element 12 serving as a light emitting element is embedded in the covering part 13 to which a voltage is automatically applied when an electric signal flows through the conductor part 11 to emit light. The electrical signal passing through the conductor section 11 is a signal pull-in! The light is transmitted to the liquid crystal element 12, which is a light emitting element, through a16. One of the inputs of the liquid crystal element 12 is connected to an embedded ground wire 14 embedded in the covering part 13. The embedded ground wire 14 is connected to a ground terminal 15. The ground terminal 15 is set to the ground potential when the signal cable of this embodiment is used.
