ある。 As shown in Fig. 1, the method for attaching these backing materials to the back side of the welding part is to place the backing plate 3 on the back side of the backing material 2 and attach it to the magnet 4 that is attracted to the weld base metals 1 and 1'. There is a method of attaching the backing material 2 by means of a pressing member 6 screwed to the bent connecting rod 5, and a method of attaching the presser metal fitting to the welding base material by welding and driving a wedge between it and the backing member. There is a way to install it.

Apply agent 8, attach a backing material to the center, and weld the tape surfaces on both sides to the base material 1,
There is a method in which the solid backing material is attached by adhering to the back surface of the welding material 1', and after welding, the solid backing material is removed from the welding base material together with the tape.

つた。 This method is easy to install and remove, does not take much time, and does not require the preparation of special jigs. However, when welding is performed by attaching a solid backing material to the back surface of the groove of the welding base material using a tape such as A foil coated with adhesive, the back surface of the backing material is heated to a temperature of 800 to 900°C. At high temperatures, the organic adhesive thermally decomposes and changes in quality, weakening its adhesion to the solid backing material. In addition, the adhesive strength of the solid backing material itself weakens due to welding heat, and cracks occur due to thermal distortion.
Therefore, when the backing material is removed from the welding base material after welding is completed, the adhesive tape may peel off from the solid backing material, and the solid backing material may fall onto the work floor, shatter into pieces, and scatter. Part or all of the material may remain stuck to the welding base metal, which not only takes time for post-processing including cleaning, but also poses a problem in terms of the working environment.

Furthermore, the temperature of the adhesive tape 7 increases due to welding,
Even if the adhesive force of the adhesive deteriorates, the solid backing material 2 and the adhesive tape 7 will not be easily separated because they are firmly connected by the metal connecting member 10.

By using the backing material of the present invention, in which the backing material is joined with a metallic connecting material, the processing of the backing material after welding can be carried out easily, reliably and safely in the same way as when using adhesive tape as described above. I can do it. That is, in FIG. 4, a metal connecting member 10 is embedded in a solid backing material 2, and asbestos 11 and corrugated cardboard 12 are embedded.
A backing material is shown in which a flexible sheet is constructed by laminating the flexible sheets, and the flexible sheet is fixed by the connecting member 10.
