The developed image is developed, transferred to copy paper, and further fixed to obtain a copy. In such a copying device, the light-reflecting surface (IFFI normal/white) of the document platen cover, that is, the back surface of the document, becomes dirty with dust and hand marks as the number of copies is repeated, causing the document to become smaller than the copy size. When copying an original, dirt on the back of the original is copied onto the periphery of the copy paper.

It takes a lot of time and effort to prepare cloth, etc., time to clean, and trouble to clean up after cleaning, and it is not always possible to pick, scoop, and clean up according to the instructions, and the back of the document is used with dirt. is the current situation. Of course, every effort has been made to select a white, light-reflecting material that is resistant to stains due to hand marks, etc., but the current situation is that there is no satisfactory material. In view of the above-mentioned problems, the present invention provides a copying apparatus that includes a light-reflective sheet on the document cover and a back surface of the document that can be easily maintained.

As a result, it is possible to obtain the effect that dirt is not copied to the non-image area, which is the same as when replacing the original document cover itself with a new one.
