A capacitor 4 and a resistor 5 are connected by providing an intermediate tap on the variable resistor 3 for adjusting the volume between the output terminal 2 and the output terminal 2, and a capacitor 6 is also connected to the input terminal 1.
and switch 7 connects capacitors 4 and 6.
It is designed to switch whether or not to operate. When the switch 7 is switched to the a side and the capacitors 4 and 6 are operated, when the volume is adjusted to a low volume using the variable resistor 3 for adjusting the volume, the bass and treble ranges are increased and a so-called loudness effect is obtained. It is done like this.

無いという問題があつた。 However, such a conventional device has the disadvantage that it cannot be used in an IC-based volume/sound quality control circuit as shown in FIG. In Figure 2,
8 is the audio signal input terminal, 9 is its output terminal, 1
0 is an amplifier for controlling the low frequency range, 11 is an amplifier for controlling the high frequency range, and 12 is an amplifier for controlling the volume. These amplifiers 10, 11, and 12 are all amplified by the applied DC control voltage. A voltage-controlled type with controlled rate is used. 13, 14, and 15 are variable resistors for adjusting the control voltages for bass range control, treble range control, and volume control, respectively, and 16, 17, and 18 are for appropriately converting the respective control voltages. This is a control circuit added to the amplifiers 10, 11, and 12. In this circuit, the part surrounded by the broken line is incorporated inside the IC element. However, in the past, there was a problem in that there was no effective loudness control means for the IC-based volume/sound quality control circuit as shown in FIG.

FIG. 3 shows its configuration, and the same parts as in FIG. 2 are given the same reference numerals and their explanation will be omitted. In this circuit, variable resistors 13 and 14 are used to adjust the sound quality in the bass and treble ranges.
A resistor 19 that changes the sound quality control voltage in the direction of increasing the bass and treble ranges is connected between one end and the ground, and a resistor 19 is connected in parallel to determine whether or not to operate the resistor 19. Switch 2
Connect 0. Further, a transistor 21 is connected in parallel with the resistor 19, and its base is coupled via a resistor 22 and a constant voltage diode 23 to an output terminal of a variable resistor 15 for adjusting the volume.

するような制御ができることになる。 In this configuration, if the switch 20 is closed, the resistor 19 is short-circuited and its operation is stopped, so that the volume and sound quality can be controlled without any loudness effect. On the other hand, if this switch 20 is opened, when the control voltage from the volume adjustment variable resistor 15 is small and the volume is adjusted to a small range, the constant voltage diode 23 is not conductive, so the transistor 21 is also cut off. As a result, the resistor 19 operates and the output control voltages from the variable resistors 13 and 14 increase. As a result, the bass and treble ranges of the sound quality are increased, resulting in a loudness effect. When the volume is adjusted to be louder by the variable resistor 15, the constant voltage diode 23 becomes conductive when the volume is adjusted to a medium level or above, and as a result, the transistor 21 also becomes conductive, so that the resistor 1
9 is shorted and the loudness effect disappears. At this time, the constant voltage diode 23 is removed and the resistor 22
If it is set to only 1, it is possible to control the loudness effect so that the smaller the volume is, the louder the loudness effect is, within the range of low volume.

As described above, according to the present invention, when the volume is low, the IC automatically increases the high and low frequencies to correct the sound quality, and when the volume exceeds a certain level, the IC obtains the frequency characteristics set by the variable resistor for sound quality control. This makes it possible to obtain an effective sound quality control circuit using a DC control voltage.
