The present invention relates to a paper angle material with excellent mechanical strength and moisture resistance. Traditionally, paper angles with an L-shaped cross section were manufactured by folding a single sheet of paperboard. However, due to stress caused by tension on the outside and compression on the inside due to the bending of the thick paperboard, the angles were folded back into the original flat board. There is a tendency to try to
For example, not only is it difficult to obtain right-angled or acute-angled angle members, but there is also the drawback that the outside part is easily damaged due to the stress. In order to overcome these drawbacks, a paper angle material has been proposed in which multiple strips of paper coated with adhesive are laminated to form a certain angle (Japanese Patent Application No. 13921-1982). and 13922
issue). Such paper angle materials are used as packaging materials for various industrial products. However, such paper angle materials do not necessarily have sufficient mechanical strength such as tensile strength, and the strength decreases particularly when wet. For this reason, for example, the four corners of a cardboard box used as a packaging container for electric refrigerators, electric washing machines, etc., or the four corners between two opposing upper and lower cardboard plates, are used as supports and cushioning materials to store the products. When stacked in several stages, the tensile strength (pressure resistance) is not necessarily sufficient. Moisture resistance is insufficient, especially during humid summer months or when shipping through tropical regions.
There is a drawback that the tensile strength is significantly reduced,
Therefore, the mechanical strength as a packaging material is insufficient. The present invention was devised to eliminate the various drawbacks of the conventional products as described above, and is a paper angle with an L-shaped cross section, which is made by folding multiple strips of paper in half along the longitudinal fold line and stacking them. This is a paper angle material with a thermosetting resin layer provided on at least one surface. Next, one embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. That is, as shown in FIG. 1, the paper angle material 1 according to the present invention includes a plurality of sheets, for example, 3 to 8 strips of paper 2a, 2b, 2 having the same width.
c, 2d, 2e are folded in half around the longitudinal bending line 3 to form adhesive layers 4a, 4b, 4c, 4.
A thermosetting resin layer 5a is provided on the outer surface of a paper angle material 1 having an L-shaped cross section and laminated with d interposed therebetween. This paper angle material is
Since strips of paper of the same width are used, there is a difference in level corresponding to the thickness, as shown in FIG.
Note that the thickness of the strip of paper in this figure is exaggerated, and the same applies to other drawings. FIG. 2 shows another embodiment of the present invention, in which a paper angle material 1 similar to that shown in FIG. 1 is coated with thermosetting resin layers 5a and 5b on both the outer and inner surfaces, respectively. It is something that will change. In addition, in this figure, the same reference numerals as in FIG. 1 represent the same members. FIG. 3 shows still another embodiment of the present invention, in which a paper angle material 1 similar to that shown in FIG.
By making the widths of 2d and 2e narrower toward the inner side, the paper angle material 1 has no steps as a finished product. In this figure, the same reference numerals as in FIG. 2 represent the same members. The thermosetting resin layers 5a and 5b in the paper angle material 1 are formed by simultaneously coating a predetermined amount of thermosetting resin on the outer surface of the paper strip constituting the outermost layer when forming the paper angle material by laminating paper strips. It can be formed by any method such as lamination molding or coating the outer surface of the laminated paper angle material 1.
In addition, examples of band-shaped paper include kraft liner and jut liner. Thermosetting resins used for the paper angle material according to the present invention include unsaturated polyester resins, epoxy resins, phenolic resins, melamine resins, thermosetting acrylic resins, diisocyanate resins, etc., and are usually 20 to 100 g/m 2 used. After coating one side and both sides of a paper angle material with a side width of 50 mm, thickness of 4.9 mm, and length of 400 mm with 40 to 50 g/ m2 of diisocyanate prepolymer (product name PHB-40), the temperature is 40 to 60℃.
The material was dried for 72 hours to produce paper angle materials as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2. In addition, unsaturated polyester resin (product name R-
235A-1) (Methyl ethyl ketone peroxide
