Claims

[Scope of utility model registration request]

A tape cassette comprising a housing made by combining an upper half and a lower half and storing a tape therein, and an open/close lid attached to the housing and closed to cover the front side of the housing. A lid locking member for locking the opening/closing lid in a closed state is rotatably supported on a side wall of the upper half, and a part of the lid locking member locks the lid when the upper half and the lower half are combined. A tape cassette comprising a retaining part that cooperates with the engaged part of the lower half to temporarily fix the upper half and the lower half so that they do not separate.
