Claims

In a capping device in which a cap having an inner stopper held at the lower end of an elevating rod is raised and lowered relative to the container and attached to the mouth of the container, the lowering pattern of the above-mentioned elevating operation is followed by a cap for a required period of time immediately before the sealing position at the lowest end.
