Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve air blow-in efficiency at acceleration of an engine, by providing an acceleration time auxiliary device blowing compressed air in both intake and exhaust lines at the time of accelerating the engine and mounting a compressed air blowing nozzle in the exhaust line to the direction toward a turbine blade.
CONSTITUTION: An exhaust gas turbine supercharger 12 consists of a compressor 13 and turbine 14. Here an acceleration time auxiliary device is constituted as a compressed air blowing device consisting of a tank 21, storing compressed air, valve 20 and blow-in nozzles 22, 23, and the valve 20 is controlled by output of a detector 19 detecting an acceleration state with engine speed, load or the like. Then the blow-in nozzle 22 is provided in such a manner that compressed air is blown toward the downstream for a venturi-shaped cylindrical body 24 arranged in an intake passage 152. While the blow-in nozzle 23 is provided in a turbine casing 25 directly toward a blade through the inside of an exhaust gas inflow chamber.
