Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the number of motors and power consumption, by achieving a drive system for each mode of transmission and copy through a single motor and a clutch. CONSTITUTION:A timing pulley 46 is fixed on an output shaft 45 of a drive motor 44 for subscanning. A timing pulley 48 is fixed on a rotating shaft 47 of a carrier roller 26a of originals and a timing pulley 51 is fixed to a rotating shaft 49 of carrier roller 35a of recording member via a clutch 50. A timing belt 52 is belted on pulleys 46, 48, 51. A timing pulley 53 is fixed on the rotating shaft 47 and a timing pulley 55 is fixed on the shaft 54 and also a timing belt 56 is belted. On the shaft 49, a timing pulley 57 is fixed and a timing pulley 59 is fixed on the shaft 58, and a timing belt 60 is belted. Thus, drive rollers 25a, 26a, 35a, 37a are driven toward the same direction in the same speed.
