Abstract
PURPOSE:To fix split coils strongly, and to prevent mutual slippage positively by a method wherein concave sections are formed at one or more positions in the circumferential direction at the opposite positions of the upper and lower joining end surface sections of the slipt coils, wedges are inserted into the concave sections, and the upper and lower split coils are fixed. CONSTITUTION:A low voltage coil 2 formed by molding winding 4 and a high voltage coil 3 constituted by the split coils 3a-3c shaped by molding winding 4 divided into three pieces in the up and down direction are arranged around a core 1 of the molded transformer. The four concave sections 6 are shaped at regular intervals in the circumferential direction at the each upper and lower opposite positions of the upper and lower joining end surface sections of the split coils 3a- 3c. When assembling the high voltage coil 3, the wedges 7 made of an insulating material are inserted into space formed by the upper and lower opposite concave sections 6. Accordingly, the mutual slippage of the split coils 3a-3c is prevented, and the split coils 3a-3c are settled strongly.
