Abstract
PURPOSE: To surely obtain a light-reception signal even when back light noises are increased, by transmitting a transmission light deviated by a prescribed wavelength, by superimposing a part of the transmission light on a reception light having the wavelength thus deviated, and by finding a beat signal therefrom.
CONSTITUTION: A transmission light LT which is obtained by deviating a transmission light having a prescribed wavelength by a prescribed wavelength at every prescribed cycle is transmitted by a transmitting optical system and a reflected light reflected by a target 15 is received by a receiving optical system 16. Then, a local light obtained by taking out a part of the transmission light LT is superimposed on a reception light LR by a photocoupler 17 and the light thus superimposed is subjected to an optical heterodyne detection and is passed through a light-receiving element 18, whereby a beat signal eB is obtained. The beat signal eB is amplified and detected by an intermediate frequency amplifier 19 and a detector 20 and thereby a reception pulse signal ed is found. This signal is inputted in an information processing circuit 21 and thereby the operational processing of a distance R to the target 15, a relative velocity Vr and the direction ϕ is performed.
