Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a sloid image pickup element on which color separating filters are formed directly by changing organic materials of the color separating filters to inorganic materials and devising the method of manufacture. CONSTITUTION:Color separating flters 41-1-41-3 are formed by a sputter method, a vapor-depositing method or an ion-plating method. The color filters are made by using soda lime glass, phosphate glass, soda lead glass, borosilicate glass etc. as a base material and incorporating coloring agents that develop colors in ionic or colloidal state, under a specified condition. Se, Se-As, CdS- CdSe, Sb2S3 are used as coloring agents for red, Cr2O3Pr2O3, FeO3+FeO for green and CoO, CuO, Ti2O3S, FeO for blue by selecting among materials suitable for objective color tones respectively.
