Abstract

PURPOSE:To secure a field of vision required for driving while avoiding the dazzle of the sun by a method wherein a small-sized sun visor is supported over the entire region of a front main field of vision by a movable supporting means. CONSTITUTION:An expansion arm 2 is composed of five pipes having different diameters so that it can be freely expanded and contracted, the small-sized sun visor is fixed to the small-diameter tip of the arm 2, and the large-diameter end is fixed to a base part 3 for the arm 2. The support means 4 and the base part 3 constitute a spherical joint such that the base part 3 is pivotably supported with respect to the support means 4, the pivotal movement being accompanied by an appropriate resistance adjusted by an adjusting screw 5. The support means 4 is attached by screws to an upper part member for a front window of a vehicle.
