USE: Antibacterial agent effective to Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.
PROCESS: The compound of formulaIcan be prepared by heating the compound of formula II (R1' is H, alkyl, etc.; R2' is H, protected amino, etc.; R3' is carboxyl-protecting group; R7 is alkyl, etc.), and if necessary, removing the group of R3' or the protective groups of the R2' or R3' from the resultant compound of formula III.
