Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify holding structure, to reduce cost and to achieve stabilization by using two transducers each used for one surface. CONSTITUTION:A nearly-channel-shaped carriage 11 is formed by providing an upper surface part 11a and a lower surce part 11b in one body made of synthetic resin, and transducers 12 and 13 having spherical surfaces are fixed to one-side terminal parts of said surface parts 11a and 11b. Those two transducers 12 and 13 are arranged at an interval a little bit greater than the thickness of a medium 14, which is held between two superposed arm parts 15a and 15b of a supporting member 15. This supporting member 15 is capable of moving up and down on its read end part 15c as a fulcrum with a driver 16 such as an electromagnet.
