Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of pin holes or the imperfect filling of molten resin as well as to smoothen the injection of the resin by connecting a vacuum pump to an air vent leading to a cavity but having no opening on the outside. CONSTITUTION:Air inside a cavity 3 is evacuated by operating a vacuum pump 5, and under the condition, a resin is injected into the cavity 3 through a sprue 6 and a runner 7. At a time when the resin is packed in the cavity 3, an air vent 4 is closed by means of a shut pin 13 by operating an ejector plate 9 one stage, whereby preventing the inflow of large amounts of the resin into the air vent 4. After the resin inside the cavity 3 is hardened, a movable mold 1 is opened from a fixed mold 2 and a molding is removed from the molds by means of an ejector pin 8.
