In the same read-out cycle period which has been extended in this way, a data whose error has been corrected is rewritten in a memory 2 through an error correcting circuit 6, a write data register 7, an error correcting circuit 8, a write data switching circuit 9, etc. Accordingly, it is unnecessary to make allowance in advance for the correcting period at every read-out cycle, and an error is corrected in the same cycle without delaying an access time.
