Abstract

PURPOSE: A spinneret that is made by fitting glass nozzles for spinning prepared separately to the through holes bored on the spinneret plate, thus having mirror surface on the walls of polymer-introducing holes to assure the smooth flow of the melted polymer and the stable spinning operation.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of through holes 6 are bored on the spinneret plate 1 and glass fine tubes for spinning 7 having the polymer-introducing hole 2' followed by polymer-extruding hole 3', which are separately prepared, are fitted to each through hole. Then, the projecting parts of the glass nozzles 7 from the spinneret plate 1 are cut off on both surfaces to complete the spinneret. The melted polymer can run smoothly without meeting with any resistance, since the shape from the top edge of the polymer-introducing hole 2' to the polymer- extruding hole 3' is gently curved.
