So that the voltage developed by resistances 5 and ON-OFF switch elements 6 will not be applied to load 3, switch element 4 is turned off. To commutate electric current flowing through load 3, switch element 4 is turned on and at the same time, ON-OFF switch elements 6 are turned off successively.
