Abstract

PURPOSE:To keep the ink jetting opening clean and to jet ink particles normally at all times, by arranging an ink absorbing member adjacent to the ink jetting opening. CONSTITUTION:At the back of a horn type first ink chamber 2 of a double cavity type head 1 is provided a metal vibration plate 3 to which a piezoelectric element 4 is bonded. To the front of the first ink chamber is provided the first jetting opening 5 and the second jetting opening through a space 6 therebetween, and the space 6 is in communication with the second ink chamber 8 leading to an ink feeding pipe 9. Adjacent to the second jetting opening 7 is bonded the ink absorbing member 10 having an opening 10a, and an ink reservoir for receiving the ink dropping through the ink absorbing member is arranged.
