Abstract
PURPOSE:To apply voltage to each electrode in accordance with the resistance division ratio of the anode voltage by forming a support frame which supports a number of electrodes at specified intervals with an insulator in which a resistor with a specific volume resistivity and thermal expansion coefficient is provided. CONSTITUTION:An electron gun frame 1 consists of electrodes 3-5, the first to sixth grids 6-11, and a convergence electrode 12 through a pair of support frames 21 and 22. The support frames 21 and 22 consist of glass resistors. They consist of a beads glass insulator 2b which has partly a resistor 2a whose volume resistivity is 10<7>OMEGA.cm and whose thermal expansion coefficient is below 30X10<-7>/ deg.C. The third to sixth grids 8-11 are mounted to each imbedded sections 81-111. As a result, the anode voltage can be applied to a specified electrode through the resistor 2a with the optimum properties in accordance with the division ratio and the characteristics of the electron gun frame can improve.
