Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve reliability to mechanical vibration, etc. by etching the end of optical fibers to concave shape by an etching solution and mounting and bonding spherical lenses of a diameter equal to or larger than the diameter of the inside wall cylinder of the concave portions into the concave portions.
