Abstract
PURPOSE:To realize low distortion and low noise characteristics over high frequencies, by using another light source to constitute the feedback loop. CONSTITUTION:The electric input signal drives the light source 2 through the light source driving circuit 6 and it is converted into the light output signal. After this optical output signal is synthesized with the light signal from another light source 10 at the photocoupler 7, a part is picked up as the monitor signal at the photobranch path 8. This optical signal is converted into electric signal at the photodiode 4 and amplified at the monitor signal amplifier 5. Furthre, it is compared with the electric input signal at the light source driving circuit 9, the error signal is amplified and fed to the light source 10.
