Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve an adhesive property between a base material and a thermosensitive color forming layer and prevent the viscous feeling of the color forming layer by forming a mat layer and a primer layer, into which a phenolic compound is dissolved, between the base material and the color forming layer by printing, coating, etc. CONSTITUTION:A mat agent is used which consists of a white pigment (for example, silica in approximate 1-10mu grain size), a binding agent, a solvent, etc. That is, said mat agent is applied on a plastic film (a base material) 1 by printing or coating, and a mat layer 2 with approximate 1-10mu thickness is made up. A primer layer 3 built up by dissolving a phenolic compound (for example, bisphenol A) as one component of a thermosensitive color forming layer into the binding agent is formed on the layer 2, thermosensitive color forming ink containing leuco dyes and the phenolic compound is applied on the layer 3 and a color forming layer 4 is made up while ink is permeated to the mat layer 2 through the primer layer 3, and a thermosensitive recording type plastic card is built up.
