Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the in-mold decorated form without preforming and trimming by a method wherein a transfer sheet, in which a pattern printing layer and a bonding agent layer are provided on a thermoformable base sheet through a separating layer, is utilized to injection mold the form under a condition that the transfer sheet is mounted in a mold. CONSTITUTION:The thermoformable separating layer 2 (for example; vinyl resin, cyclic rubber, chloride rubber, polyolefin series resin or the like) is provided on the base sheet 1 consisting of a thermoformable plastic film and the pattern printing layer 3 consisting of a thermoformable resin (for example; polyester, polyvinyl chloride, polyamide or the like) is provided thereon, further, the bonding agent layer 4 consisting of a thermoformable resin is provided thereon to obtain the transfer sheet 5. This transfer sheet 5 is mounted between the male mold 6 and the female mold 7 so as to face the bonding agent layer 4 toward a gate 10 side and the resin is poured from the gate 10 inbetween both of the molds 6, 7 to mold the form 8. After the form 8 is cured, the separating layer 2 and the base sheet 1 are separated and the in-mold decorated form may be obtained.
