Abstract

PURPOSE: To enhance water making efficiency by a method wherein a heat pipe is embedded in one end part of an absorbing agent layer of the water making apparatus and other end part of the heat pipe is contacted with a cooler.
CONSTITUTION: The heat pipe 13 is inserted into one end of the absorbing agent layer 1a in an absorption dehydrator tower 1 and the cooler 14 is contacted with other end of the heat pipe 13. Valves 10, 9 are opened to sent air into the tower 1 by a blower B1 and moisture in said air is absorbed by the absorbing agent layer 1a. Subsequently, said valves 10, 9 are closed and valves 11, 12 are opened to sent said air to a heater 5 by a blower B2 and heat is imparted to the absorbing agent layer 1a to convert moisture of said layer to water vapor and said water vapor is condensed by a condenser 4 and the condensed water is entered in a water receiving tank 6. When dehydration operation is completed, the absorbing agent layer 1a heated by the cooler 4 through the heat pipe 13 is cooled. Thereby, a cooling speed of the absorbing agent layer 1a is fasten and the restoration of absorbing capacity of an absorbing agent is promoted.
