Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable regulation of fuel combustion amount in remote operation by a liuid fuel flow rate regulator by controlling the position of a valve body supported in a container retained at its fuel level constantly by a constant fuel level retainer by a motor and controlling fuel flow rate flown externally from the container.
CONSTITUTION: When this regulator is applied for a hot water supply system, the temperature detected by an exhaust hot water temperature detector 40 is compared with a set temperature of a setting potentiometer 42 by a comparator 41. The deviation signal from the comparator 41 is applied to a pulse generator 43, which thereupon produces a pulse responsive to the absolute value of the deviation simultaneously with positive or negative discrimination output. This pulse is applied through a waveform shaping circuit 44 to a step motor drive circuit 45, which thereupon drives a step motor 47 (27) in the rotating direction specified by a positive or negative discriminator 46 to control the deviation to zero. Thus, a flow rate control rod 21 in a fuel flow rate regulator body 15 is moved through a cylindrical cam 29 on an output shaft 28 and a rod 26 to increase or decrease the fuel flow rate upon increase or decrease of the opening area of the slit 24.
