Abstract
PURPOSE:To omit the large-size and low-frequency transformer and thus to simplify the device by obtaining the call signal for ringing the telephone bell which is insulated and isolated from the earth and power source system by means of the small- size and light-weight high-frequency transformer, the rectifier circuit capable of the control in the rectifying direction, the smoothing circuit and others. CONSTITUTION:High-frequency generation circuit 1, high-frequency transformer 2, rectifier circuit 3 capable of the control in the rectifying direction, high-frequency smoothing circuit 5 and telephone bell 6 are connected in series. And circuit 3 is controlled by control signal generation circuit 4, and circuit 3 consists of photo couplers PC1-PC4, diodes D1-D4 and overcurrent preventing resistances R1 and R2. Then current I1 and I2 featuring the same frequency as the call signal are flowed alternately from circuit 4 to circuit 3 to cause the rectification waveform featuring the opposite polarity for the potential. In such way, both the weight and volume can be reduced down to about 1/10, thus obtaining an extremely small-size device.
