Abstract
PURPOSE: To eliminate the microphonic noise or the like and thus obtain the accurate measurement data, by distributing the dummy electrode plate groups under the same mechanical conditions and in parallel to the original electrode plate group and then giving the correction to the output of the original electrode with the output of the dummy electrode.
CONSTITUTION: Detector container main body 10 is formed with the 1st and 2nd rooms 10a and 10b. Main electrode plate group 11 is provided in room 10a to detect the incident X-rays; and dummy electrode plate group 12 is installed in room 10b respectively. Furthermore, the outside of room 10b is coated with X-ray incidence preventing shielding component (such as lead) 13. In such way, a radiation detector which can be applied suitably to the computer tomography device is formed. The above-mentioned electrode plate groups 11 and 12 are formed equivalently to each other in terms of the mechanical sense. In this connection, the correction is given to the output signal supplied from group 11 with the output signal sent from group 12. Thus the noise caused by the electrostatic capacity fluctuation occurring between the electrode plates can be eliminated, and accordingly only the signal produced by the incident X-rays is detected.
