Abstract

PURPOSE: To stoplessly control the speed variation between output shafts by rotating the speed variation motor of a driving circuit forward and backward depending on the difference between the degree of throttle opening detection signal and the number of engine revolutions detection signal.
CONSTITUTION: The degree of throttle opening detector 25 is set up in the throttle valve opening and closing device of engine E and the number of engine revolutions detector 26 in the input shaft. The electrical signals l1 and l2 are input to the control circuit. The differential circuit 33 issues the output signals which are the differences of the electrical signals l1 and l2 to the driving circuit 34. When l1< l2, the forward transistor 41 of the circuit 34 is energized and the motor rotates forward, thereby increasing the speed variation ratio of the speed changer. On the other hand, when l1<l2, the backward transistor 42 of the circuit 34 is energized and the motor rotates backward, thereby decreasing the speed variation ratio. When l1=l2, the output of the differential circuit 33 disappears and the transistors 41 and 42 are cut off. The motor stops and the speed variation members are retained as they are.
