Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain constantly high efficiency all the time against large voltage variation, by supplying a detected power-supply voltage and the output of a sawtooth-wave circuit to a comparator and obtaining a rectangular-wave-pulse voltage whose width corresponds to the variation of a power-supply voltage. CONSTITUTION:A constant voltage circuit is formed by a Zener diode ZD13, transistors Q14 and Q15, and a stable voltage is applied to an oscillator OSC, a comparator CON, and a driver DR. The output of the oscillator OSC is transformed into a sawtooth wave and is inputted to the comparator CON, where it is compared with the DC voltage divided by dividing resistors R11 and R12. The rectangular- wave output, whose width is varied corresponding to the power-supply voltage, sewitches a transistor Q11 through the driver DR. Therefore, the efficiency is not decreased against the variation of the power-supply voltage, and both 24V and 48V can be commonly used in one device.
